Symposium Chronicle (Day 6) Sunday July 25
Today we realized we were already halfway this Symposium. With joy we are noticing that as we get to know each other and we are learning to work, listen and welcome each other, we recognize ourselves more like a Family.
We started the day with some guidelines from Isabel, a missionary disciple from Madeira (Portugal) who reminded us that fraternal love comes from God, who loves us first and enables us to love one another.
With the strength of the Word, preached and prayed, we began the meetings in small groups. Today we focused on the chapter dedicated to “Fraternal Love” and shared among us our desire to find ways to make visible God’s love in and through our lives. We continue these meetings in the afternoon, sharing our intuitions and concerns among all the groups.
Finally, we celebrated the Eucharist together, as a Family; and prepared for tomorrow, a day of reflection and prayer, when we can look back at everything we have lived during these last days.
