Symposium Chronicle (Day 4) Friday July 22

Today the LMC Juan Gertosio from Chile, gave the guidelines virtually, about the apostolic commitment, where we were invited to commit ourselves starting from the human and spiritual process of growing and developing ourselves and not remaining always as children, and from the invitation of God to take steps and take charge of our life and the people he entrusts to us, from the quote of Jer 4, 1-6.

Then in a second moment, we met in groups where we reflected and contributed on Chapter III: Apostolic Commitment VD and Belonging to the VDMFa.

In the afternoon in plenary, we shared the work done in the groups, and then after a discussion, we agreed on the modifications to be made to Chapter III of the Instrumentum Laboris.

In the homily, Juan Martinez invited us to live our apostolic commitment from the merciful gaze of God, who knows how to bring out the best in the midst of our weaknesses and frailties.

And in the evening we ended with a Mexican party, where we sang and danced to the rhythm of the “Jarabe Tapatío” and other Mexican traditions.
